    1080 Kills Everything

    • Stewart Hydes says:

      You’re talking about actual 1080.
Except when it’s formulated into a 1080 Bait .. it assumes magical powers.
Suddenly, it only kills target species. Possums, Rats, and Mustelids.
It kills Mustelids via secondary poisoning.
Which is truly magical .. because it does not enter the food chain.
It doesn’t kill Kea (except that it does).
It doesn’t kill many deer (only something like 92%).
It doesn’t kill insects (even though it was originally developed as an insecticide).
It doesn’t enter the food chain (oh, apart from killing the aforementioned mustelids via secondary poisoning.
      It’s all magic.
Or, there’s a lot of lies.
      Take your pick.

  2. Karl Lorenz says:

If you continue to vote for a political party election after election, you get whacked by politicians. Blind loyalty to a political party is brainless. Be flexible in your voting; become a swinging voter, then politicians won’t ride roughshod over the public interest, democracy and the people.

  3. Tom Downes says:

Ancient Greek philosopher Plato said it all about not giving a stuff about politics and even not voting.
“The price of apathy,” Plato said,”is to be ruled by evil men.”
